The bicycle presented here is a one of a kind. Cilo was a Swiss artisan manufacturer of bicycles that filed for bankruptcy in 2002. Cilo bicycles were produced on the shores of Lake Geneva in Romanel-sur-Lausanne in the Vaud canton. This particular bike dates from the late 1970s to early 1980s.

The bike displayed here is one of the few made of steel tubing by Vitus, the famous French tubing company. This bicycle is a delight to ride. The medium sized step-through frame is light yet rigid and the geometry and gearing is perfect for longer distance riding in Singapore.
