Got this bike second-hand. It had a broken rear derailleur and was generally un-rideable.

I thought that it would make a good single speed because it had horizontal dropouts.

I replaced a couple of the old, rusty components to improve the overall aesthetics and to future-proof it against rust.

(Secondhand) Weapon crankset and bottom bracket (although I think the previous owner swapped out the chainring)

It’s overall a lot of fun, and doesn’t require much maintenance at all. It runs a 48-17T set up. Getting up the steepest of hills proves quite challenging, but if you’re just looking for a fairly reliable beater or commuter, this bike will be a pretty good bet.
