Workcycle cargo family bike

With much sadness I'm selling my trusty WorkCycles Gr8 workhorse (see https://flyingdutchman.bike/product/workcycles-gr8/ for full details) for $1,500 which is half the original price. It was bought brand new for £1,500 about 5 years ago. It was very lightly used in the first three years, and then almost daily over the last two years. Selling only because we are moving where driving is essential, so sadly we won't be cycling much at all.

Since the date of purchase the cost of the base frame has gone up 20% (more than £200) and similarly all the other accessories have increased in price. You can check this on the pricing sheet where the bike was bought (https://flyingdutchman.bike/product/workcycles-gr8/).

It comes with a 8-speed Shimano gears, Shimano brakes, hub dynamo which means lights for riding at nights are automatic, mudguards and a bell. Being a hub gear bike it means that the gears are protected and lasts longer. In fact dutch bikes are built to last forever even when stored outdoors although we've only stored it in the basement bike park. There is also a frame lock which means no need to bring a bike lock around.

The bike is customised with a huge front basket which carrier a lot of shopping, school bags, picnic mat/food, scooters etc. The basket in front is attached to the bicycle main frame as oppose to the handlebars which means that it doesn't turn with the handlebars making it much more really easy all round even when the basket is fully loaded.

There are also two junior seats - we used these when we moved here with our children 3.5 and 5.5 years old then. I have since used it to get a 9-10 year old boy who wasn't feeling well home. The seats are also great for school bags, strapping balance bikes etc. They come with seatbelt and foldable footrests.

The kickstand is also extremely robust meaning that even if I have the baskets and kids seats fully loaded with bags for example the bike doesn't topple.

Also comes with quality Schwalbe tyres (we also have a spare one) and been well maintained, with minimal signs of rust.
