Just got scammed by someone posing as a buyer for my Brand New Canyon AL 7.0. Person claims to be overseas and wants to ship bike to Philippines. Asks you to send request for payment to PAYPAL. When PAYPAL replies to them, they take your details and generate an 'authentic' looking email from PAYPAL. The note will say PAYPAL received bike price + shipping + taxes from the "buyer". Money is on hold till you remit the shipping+taxes back to Philippines and send the remittance slip back to that "PayPal" email....dont fall for it. I just remitted back $1290. PayPal will never ask you to send money, don't fall for the rouse of "can I send you the bike price + shipping etc and you pay the courier for me nonsense" Also, always click reply on suspicious emails and click the address...it may show "paypal" , but when you click it it shows something totally different.
