DT SWISS CERTIFIED WHEEL BUILDER AT CONCEPT WHEELS


At concept wheels we use only the highest specification tools and the most premium parts to craft wheels that meet our customers’ highest expectations for aesthetics and build quality.

Every wheel is expertly built using a professional Park Tool truing stand with every spoke precisely tensioned to the rim and hub manufacturer’s exact specification. We use a cutting-edge digital tension meter to counter-check and calibrate all tensions. Spokes are custom cut to length using a premium Phil Wood spoke cutter.

Features of our wheel build process include:

Every spoke is precisely cut to length with cold forge threading.
Spokes are prepared using a special thread compound during the assembly process to ensure maximum load support (mainly on carbon rims).
All new wheels are built to the tolerance of 0.25 lateral and radial by a DT Swiss Certified Wheel Builder - Me!
Wheel trueing services are also available.

The care and attention we apply to the entire wheel building process ensures your wheels will last and put up with whatever you can throw at them. Our wheels have been raced at the top level in the most gruelling endurance events on the planet, including the hardest mountain bike event in the world, the Absa Cape Epic in South Africa.
