Frejus was founded in Torino Italy in 1896 by Emmo Ghelfi. The brand was later purchased by Emilio Bozzi who owned the Legnano and Woolsit brands. 14 world championships were won on Frejus bikes by many cycling legends including Gino Bartali and famed frame and component master Cino Cinelli.
