Couple of facts about my recent bike servicing. I asked them to: 1. change chain, 2. adjust front brake, 3. check rear wheel. Results: A. rear wheel is wobbly, B. new chain was installed on dirty chain rings, C. they put chain for 9 chain rings instead of 10!!!! (had to be replaced later on, however ride is still not smooth!), D. FRONT BRAKE WAS UNSCREWED!!!, E. FRONT WHEEL UNSCREWED!!! all of these (chain, loose brake, loose wheel) results in dangerous situation and can results in accident. AVOID IF YOU CAN!!!!
Hi, 1) our mechanic had tuned up the rear wheelrear wheel and tightened the hub as well. If it is wobbly, you may want to check if your spokes had broken. 2)Mechanic has also suggest to do a degreasing for your drive train as it was very dirty but you refuse and did not want it. 3) We have acknowledged and apologised with regards to the error in the wrong chain used. I personally did the tuning of the gears and you acknowledge that it was not smooth due to either old wire or rear derailleur issue. You even mentioned that your bike has not been serviced for years. 4) I am not sure how your front brake or front wheel came loose but if it was loosen, when you rode off, the brakes would not be useable. No?
