The annual TTSH (Tan Tock Seng Hospital) Charity Ride is back again!

In its fourth iteration, 2014’s also comes with an extra milestone as it marks the hospital’s 170th Founder’s Day. Mr Tan Tock Seng had once forged a very special relationship with Thai Royalties, and so what could be more apt than to celebrate this occasion by holding this year’s Charity Ride in Thailand?

Come 22-25 May, Charity Riders can look forward to challenging themselves to nearly 186km of undulating terrain – from the beaches of Phuket to hilly Khao Sok.

For the uninitiated, the first TTSH Charity Ride started in 2011, tracing the roots of philanthropist Mr Tan Tock Seng, where Charity Riders cycled from Malacca to Singapore. The ride is also the hospital’s signature fundraising event, and requires each cyclist participant to self-raise a minimum of $1,000 prior to the trip as part of the participation criteria.

Love for cycling aside, these Charity Riders are also passionate in doing their part to bring in funds that will provide timely and critical financial help to medical needs of needy patients.
