Introduction
Nestled in the heartlands of Sembawang/Yishun, near the famous Chong Pang Nasi Lemak stall is a new bike shop named Ave Avenue. This shop started opening its doors in March 2012, and aims to cater to the needs of cyclists, especially those who are on a tighter budget or want to start riding but want a more modest or understated ride.
Product Range
The unique thing about Ave Avenue is that it offers its own house-brand of bicycles called Avenue Bikes, which consists of a range of road and mountain bikes. All of the bikes in the range come with full-carbon frames with an attractive components/parts package. For the road range, there are models oriented towards racers and enthusiasts as well as comfort bikes with straight handlebars designed for commuting and easy-riding.
The mountain bike range all come in hard tail models and an interesting model is the Moby, which has 2 colour variations in purple/white (pictured) for the more adventurous mountain bike rider and a more subdued light grey/dark grey model for some who prefers a more neutral colour. There is also a range of brightly-coloured single-speed bikes for those who want a single-speed ride which really stands out from the crowd.
