This is an open discussion thread for the news Cyclists Give Back to Charity During Riding For Rainbows 2016

Cyclists, former beneficiaries manage to raise over $650,000 during the event.

It's great - I shall do it again next year!
I enjoyed doing the Century ride but had wished it's round island and more than just 105km for century challengers for next year's route. 

Also, I think there are unnecessarily way too many 'Marshals' (sweepers) in that event. One female marshal go 'blah, blah, blah,..' - she chat with others too much and I had to try ride faster to break myself away from the peloton. 

Few of the marshals didn't helped much being around i.e., they don't signal for potholes. They are generally a distraction or an obstruction! 

I hope they keep the so-called Marshals at a reasonable number for next year :(

Hmm... perhaps for the future you could request them to consider singing some songs.
