Java decaf 451 wheelset

Posted on: 15th Apr 2015 1:30 PM    Quote and Reply

hi, I own one on my java fit
good - it rolls well, quite durable, high profile which makes it fast

I have managed to keep up with road bikes going low 30 km/hr

the maybe-not-so-good
it's quite heavy compaired to other 451 wheels (iirc 1.7kg)

the hub is a disc hub which is 135 mm, it may be a problem to squeeze it onto a dahon (but for tonino lambo its ok)

its quite noisy as well when new

summary - if its on offer, and cheap and if you own a java or a lambo, its worth getting

if you are a weight weenie, or those very fussy fellas, then pass. get a tyrell am9 wheelset
