Q. I started cycling by 8:30 PM, but ended my ride at 10:00 PM (beyond the Earth Hour span), will I still be entitled to this achievement?

A. Yes, provided that you have reached at least 10 km and the ride has been recorded within the Earth Hour.

Q. I accidentally cut my tracking within the Earth Hour Span due to some technical issues, will I still be unlocking this achievement?

A. Unfortunately, no. The STRAVA ride should be continuous, and should not be disturbed at any instance during the entirety of the earth hour time span.

Q. Do I need to cycle within a specific time?

A. Yes, to unlock this achievement, you must ride during Earth Hour (March 27, 2021 8:30 PM - 9:30 PM Local Time).

Q. I cycled during a Sunday evening, and I rode all the way to Monday morning. Does that count as 2 rides for 2 consecutive weeks?

A. No. Rides that lapse through from Sunday to Monday will be recognised as 1 ride for the prior week. Each ride recording is cut off on Sunday 23:59 (GMT +8). You must stop recording, then resume a new activity in order to record your new rides.

Millennium Madness

Q. If I record at least 1000 km by the end of the challenge , does this automatically unlock this achievement for me?

A. No. You must have at least 10 separate rides with at least 100 km.

Trailblazer

Q. Do I need to ride 80 km in a single session, or can I accumulate the distance throughout the week?

A. Yes, you can accumulate your distance to unlock this achievement.

Climb The Peak

Q. I signed up, but when will I know that my donation contributed towards planting a tree?

A. You will receive an email that includes a QR Code to track your tree(s). Donations will be handed over to Trees4Trees after the Registration period ends (4 April 2021).

Q. How long does it take to receive the QR Code?

A. We will email you with the QR Code within a maximum of 5 working days after 22nd of April 2021.

Q. When is the last day to submit donations to plant trees?

A. You can donate until the last day of the #TOGOECO challenge on the 22nd of April, 2021.

ABOUT EVENT

Q. Can anyone join this event?

A. Yes of course! You can join the challenge wherever and whenever. But, be sure to link your STRAVA to your Togoparts account.

Q. What are the key rules which I need to take note while taking part in this event?

A.Togoparts aims to foster a cyclist community that is committed to staying active and maintaining good citizenry. While taking part in this challenge, we need all riders to abide by all health advice and restrictions in your area, prior to undertaking any physical activity.

Q. What are the dates and distance of the #TOGOECO challenge?

A. The challenge period starts from 27th March 2021 (Saturday 0000hrs) - 22nd April 2021 (Thursday 2359hrs), GMT+8. The finisher distance of this challenge is 80 km, and the Randonneur Distance is 800 km

Q. When is the closing date for registration?

A. Registration closes on the 5th April 2021.

Q. How much is the participation fee?

A. The minimum participation fee for #TOGOECO is SGD9.90 which includes a free cycling pin.

Q. Can I do indoor rides on a trainer or stationary bike and log that ride?

A. Yes, all indoor rides are recognised for #TOGOECO

Q. I have paid for the challenge, how will I know if my registration is successful?

A. All successful registrants will receive an email notification. If you are not sure if your payment is successful, please email us at [email protected]

Q. I live outside of Singapore, can I still sign up and join?

A. Yes, please join us for the challenge. At Togoparts, we aim to connect cyclists across the globe.

Q. Do I get my rewards if I do not complete the required challenge distance within the stipulated period of the challenge?

A. For Event rewards such as the Pin & the Tee, yes you will be receiving them regardless if you have finished the required challenge distance or not. However, for the finisher reward such as the jersey, you must reach at least 80km to be eligible to receive such.

Q. I have registered, what's next?

A. Please ensure that you authorise Togoparts to connect to your Strava account. Remember to use your STRAVA App to track all your rides during the challenge period. You can find Strava's authorisation link in our notification email.
If you are using a non-Strava device to record your rides, please upload your rides to Strava. Just make sure all devices are Strava-compatible! Once the challenge starts, the leaderboard will be refreshed periodically to reflect your relevant completed ride details

Q. Can I request for a refund?

A. There will be no refunds made once a participant has signed up. In the event where the participant is unable to complete the challenge due to unforeseen circumstances, no refunds will be made.

My Ride

Q. Help! My ride does not show up on the challenge leaderboard or I do not see my username on the challenge leaderboard after authorising Togoparts to connect to my Strava account.

A. If your rides are synced with STRAVA, then no need to worry! The challenge leaderboard will be refreshed periodically throughout each day. Please wait for your rides to be updated. If any irregularities occur, please email us at [email protected] Please allow up to 48 hours for us to respond.

Q. If I ride and record prior to signing up for #TOGOECO, will those rides be included towards the #TOGOECO leaderboard?

A. Yes, they can. To include past rides, please do contact us via [email protected], and we’ll manually add them.

Q. Why do some of my rides don't register?

A.Your rides may be uploaded late (a few days after the ride), especially for riders that use other tracking apps like Garmin. We advise you to upload your rides and activities as soon as possible. If your Strava privacy setting is not set to public, our leaderboard will not be able to pull your activities and update it automatically. We advise you to change your privacy settings to ‘public’. Be sure to untick ALL of the checkboxes on the Strava web/app Privacy Settings. For other technical issues, please contact us at [email protected] with your username and Strava Ride ID where available.

Q. Am I required to finish 80 km in a single ride, or can I accumulate the distance within the challenge period?

A. No, you do not need to complete the finisher distance in a single ride. You can accumulate 80 km by riding multiple rides, as long as it is within the challenge period between 27th March and 22nd April 2021.

Q. Where can I check my progress against other participants?

A.You can check the challenge leaderboard after it goes live on the first day of the challenge period.

Q. How can I be sure I'm logging my distance for the challenge?

A. Login to your togoparts account and check your challenge profile to see if your rides have already been reflected. If you have already linked your Strava account and it still does not show your rides being reflected accordingly, please email us at [email protected] for us to check, and we will quickly assist in getting your rides reflected into the challenge.

Q. Can I log / ride multiple times to add up to the challenge distance?

A. Yes. The beauty of virtual challenge is that you can log in your rides anytime and anywhere. Just remember to log your rides with the Strava app, or upload them to Strava if you are using another app to record your rides. Just make sure the devices are Strava-compatible!

Q. Can I measure my distance using other apps or devices?

A. We require all participants to log their rides using Strava. You can use other tracking apps, like Garmin, and upload your activities to Strava. If you have logged your activity with another app and not Strava, the system will not recognize uploaded activity.

Q. Sometimes I ride very long distances. How do I ensure my battery does not run out?

A. To conserve your battery, allow the Strava app run in the background while it is recording your activity. Here's a few steps you can follow:
Turn on location services for your mobile phone:
iOS: Settings Privacy Location Services Set to ON
Android (Samsung 6.0.1): Settings Privacy & Safety Set to ON
Turn on your Strava app's location services:
iOS: Settings Strava Location Set to "While Using" or "Always"
Android: On by default.
When you go out for a ride, hit record and turn off your mobile phone's screen. Special thanks to user triton for sharing this information.

Q. Can I do indoor rides on a trainer or stationary bike and log that ride?

A. Yes, all indoor rides are recognised for #TOGOECO.

Q. Can I add my rides manually?

A. Yes, manual input rides will be counted as indoor rides.

Q. The distance recorded by Strava is inaccurate, can you add the missing distance into that activity?

A. We are unable to edit the details recorded by Strava. We do advise participants to ensure their GPS signal is strong throughout the ride, and consistently check that Strava is recording.

Q. I use Garmin Connect / Movescount to track my rides. How do I link them to Strava?

A. You can log into your Strava account and click on this link: www.strava.com/upload/device

Q. Is it necessary to use the Strava iphone/android app to record my rides if I have another app, such as Garmin ,that I normally use?

A. No, you can continue to use your existing preferred app, such as a Garmin Edge, to record your rides; as long as you can sync and upload them to Strava. If you use both to record your rides, we will adapt to recognise the distance from only 1 source

EVENT REWARDS

Q. When can I get my rewards?

A. We mail out Finisher rewards 4 weeks after the end of the challenge (April 22, 2021). Please ensure that you provide your full address (including House/Unit/Tower Numbers) to ease the shipping process. No extra shipping fees will be charged for your rewards.

Q. Do I get the rewards I signed up for if I do not complete the challenge distance within the challenge period?

A. You are entitled to receive the event rewards (Pin and Tee) regardless if you have finished the required challenge distance or not. However, if you have signed up for the finisher reward(s) such as the jersey, you must complete at least 80km to be eligible. to receive the jersey.

Q. Can I change the address that my rewards will be delivered to?

A. Yes, you can. You must update the information page on your profile by clicking the "Upgrade Info" button. Please note that you must update your information before registration ends on 4 April 2021 23:59 GMT+8.

Q. What is the difference between the Eco-Finisher & Eco-Warrior jerseys?

A. The Eco-Finisher jersey will be awarded to participants that complete the Finisher distance, 80 km. While the Eco-Warrior jersey will be awarded to participants that complete the Randonneur distance, 800 km. You can only receive ONE jersey based on your overall performance.

Q. Can I change the size of the Event & Finisher rewards if they do not fit me?

A. Yes, you can. You must update the information page on your profile by clicking the "Upgrade Rewards" button. Please note that you must update your information before registration ends on 4 April 2021 23:59 GMT+8.

Q. I have initially registered without the reward add ons. Can I upgrade my pass to purchase the #TOGOECO Event Tee or the #TOGOECO Finisher Jersey?

A. Yes, you can. You must update the information page on your profile by clicking the "Upgrade Rewards" button. Please note that you must update your information before registration ends on 4 April 2021 23:59 GMT+8.

Q. How do I collect my rewards?

A. We will be mailing the rewards to you anywhere in the world.

Q. Is the delivery for the rewards free of charge?

A. Yes, there will be no delivery fee charged for the shipping of rewards, no matter where you are in the world!

Q. What is the difference between Event & Finisher rewards?

A. You will receive Event rewards regardless of the distance you covered throughout the course of the challenge. While the Finisher rewards require you to complete the Finisher (80 km) & Randonneur (800 km) distances.

Q. If I complete the Randonneur distance, will I receive both jerseys?

A.No, if you complete the Randonneur distance (800 km), you will ONLY receive the Randonneur jersey.

Q. Can I change my T-shirt or Jersey after I receive it?

A. No, you cannot exchange your rewards once you receive. Unless you receive a DIFFERENT SIZE from the size you initially added when you registered for the event.

Q. Will I get the Event Pin and T-shirt if I don’t complete the 80 km Finisher distance?

A. Yes, the Event Pin and T-shirt are event rewards which do not require you to complete the Finisher distance. We will send them to you regardless.

Q. Do you provide Tracking Number for my rewards?

A. A tracking number will only be issued for overseas delivery; contact us via email to know your tracking number. Participants residing in Singapore will not receive a tracking number.

Q. Do you send it via mailbox or sent on our doorstep?

A. For participants residing in Singapore, the delivery will be received via mailbox.

Q. Can I change my T-shirt or Jersey after I receive it?

A. No, you cannot exchange your rewards once you receive. Unless you receive a DIFFERENT SIZE from the size you initially added when you registered for the event. If your jersey or t-shirt is defective, you can contact us for further assistance. However, you can choose to swap t-shirts and jerseys with a fellow rider on the Togoparts Exclusive Facebook group!

Q. If I’m an existing TR21 member, do I receive a coupon code for this event?

A. Yes, when you land on the #TOGOECO registration page, the coupon code will be automatically included.

Q. I think someone is using the Strava App on an e-bike, motorbike or car.

A. It's a personal honour challenge, and a physical one. We think cyclists have integrity and are honest about challenging themselves. Togoparts.com reserves the rights to ignore the Strava entry due to dishonesty. Based on a case by case basis, we have the right to disqualify any participants at our sole discretion; or should we find a participant in violation of the terms and conditions of the challenge.

Q. How do you verify if the rides are legit?

A. Our team goes through each single ride session of each participant on a weekly basis. Towards the end of the challenge, these checks increase in frequency. If you spot any dubious activities, please contact us at [email protected].

Q. How do you treat rides which are made against the Singapore Traffic Rules, for e.g riding on expressways?

A. The entire ride will not be recognised if any section of the ride activity is ridden on a Singaporean Expressway. Riding on the highway is not permitted in Singapore. We strongly urge all challengers to ride safely and abide by all traffic regulations of Singapore.

Q. Why are some of the postings being removed on Togoparts’ challenge leaderboard and forum?

A. Togoparts.com will remove postS that are deemed inappropriate and which will adversely affect the spirit of the event.
