Review

I started going to Cycle Craft when I moved to East Coast in early 2008. They did good work on my family's bikes and had a decent range of gear. The proprietors are patient, thorough, reasonable and generous with their time and advice.

I liked the idea of their shop. A husband and wife (and their cats) running a small business - trying to put people in their community on bikes and keep them there.

Right around CNY in 2009, someone stole my road bike. When I told Louis about it, he was genuinely upset. He knew I was out of work. He told me he had an old Trek frame in storage that would be good for my (large ang mo) size. He cobbled together spare parts from other cast-off bikes and we put together a really nice "Frankenbike" that I have used ever since.

Louis and his wife are genuinely nice people. It is obvious that they love their work, care about their customers and want to provide quality products/service.

I'm moving away from the East in a few weeks, but I'll be going back to Cycle Craft as long as I live in Singapore.
