Call it Enduro. Call it AM. Call it DH lite. Call with what you want. We’ll be out there riding it. New for 2013 Vitus introduce the Dominer range of 180mm travel Enduro/DH bikes, designed for the high-octane hustle of Alpine descents, Megavalanche assaults or uplift days at your local DH trails. Built around our custom hydroformed 6061 aluminium frame with 180mm of rear travel delivered via our Vitus V-Link four-bar suspension system, the Dominer is kitted out with a bombproof components selection for long-term durability and aggressive riding intent. 180mm travel V-Link frame and RockShox Domain RC Coil Forks Our lightweight hydroformed multi-butted, heat treated 6061-T6 aluminium frame features 180mm of rear wheel travel via a four-bar V-Link activated suspension platform which eliminates pedal bob yet remains fully active at all times. Suspension travel is controlled by a RockShox KAGE R coil shock which offers silky smooth performance. All pivots run on sealed cartridge bearings providing supple suspension with low maintenance. A replaceable derailleur hanger comes as standard. Up front, RockShox Domain RC forks offer 180mm of plush, coil-sprung travel. A tapered steerer and 20mm Maxle thru-axle mean precise, positive tracking through corners, rock gardens or the toughest of technical DH lines. SRAM Groupset The SRAM 1x10 groupset combine an X7 shifter and rear derailleur with a Truvativ Hussefelt 1.1 chainset for crisp, flawless gear selections even in the toughest of condition. As would be expected on a bike with this much brawn we’ve fitted a Prime Aero dual chainguide as standard to make sure your chain stays where it should. Alpine descents require brakes you can count on, so we’ve fitted dependable Avid Elixir 3 hydraulic discs with 180mm rotors front and rear for powerful, fade-free braking performance. Finishing Kit A tough wheelset with sealed cartridge bearing disc hubs and Mavic EN 321 disc rims will take all the punishment you can dish out. High volume Maxxis High Roller tyres combine predictable handling with low rolling resistance for complete confidence in all conditions. The build kit is completed with Vitus bars, stem seatpost, grips and saddle.
