My current ride is a 21-year-old old-school steel road bike, my first road bike. It was given to me in May 09. I don't know what the frame is, except it has the "Tange" name on the rear dropout and the plastic cover at the top of the head tube. It has early Shimano 105 parts, including original "Golden Arrow" FD, RD and brakes (mine are black arrows). I've replaced the spoilt Selle Italia Turbo seat with the ugly yellow saddle from below. My bikes seem to be getting older and older.
From 2006-2009 I had a Gary Fisher Hoo Koo E Koo: a green cromoly frame, with yellow Rock Shox fork. I really don't know much about this bike cos I was given it 2ndhand (also). From Bikepedia, it seems to have been a 1996 model. I added a few things: my old Zefal strapless MTB clips; a bar-end mirror; and 1.5" slicks. And an ugly yellow saddle because the original got stolen *GRR*
And before that (about 1995-2006) I had a black Motioncraft MTB with Cinelli "flying C" bars and saddle that I bought from a friend. It lasted for about 12 years, despite badly rusting cables etc.
