Excellent value for money steel hardtail, and very customisable when you buy from the online shop. dn6 steel (tweaked 4130 cromoly).The frame has been designed with a long top tube, so you can use a short stem to improve control. So my size is normally a 17/18 inch frame, I can spec a 60mm stem.The frame is used with 'swap-outs', you can change the dropouts to run geared or single speed. Currently I have it singlespeed:Size/Colour: 18 inch, Pearl White;Fork: Reba RLT 120mm;Wheelset: 2010 XT QR; Kenda 2.1 small block 8; Maxxis 1.5;Controls: On-One stem, Mary bar, steel seatpost, Inbred saddle, Oury glow in the dark grips, FSA external headset;Drivetrain and brakes: 2009/2010 Deore/SLX/XT 9 speed;Singlespeed: On-One steel chainring, cog, KMC gold chain;Pedals: NC-17 Red plastic (made by wellgo).Steel really feels good. This frame has been designed to maximise steel's potential so that even with when I ran 60 psi / 1.5 tyres, it felt less harsh than a typical aluminium hardtail. And singlespeed off-roading is real eye-opening. I'm really happy with the simplicity this bike can offer.
