First Full Sus bike, heavily upgraded (only the original shock remains while waiting on an RP2). Bought the X3 in 2009 because I liked the white colour and wanted to save some money. Turns out the geometry and suspension system rode really well so I decided to use it as a base for gradual upgrades. Fork: Fox 32 RLC 120mm, 15mm thru axle; Drivetrain: 2010 SLX/XT group;Brakes: 2010 SLX, 180/160mm XT rotors;Wheels: Fulcrum Red Zone UST; Schwalbe Nobby Nic Evo 2.25;Controls: On-One ultralight stem, Ragley bars, Peaty grips; KS 100mm Adjustable seatpost, Fizik Gobi saddle;And other miscellaneous cable / hose / clamp upgrades.A very good bike for all-around riding. It really pedals quite well, surprisingly comfortable on the trails in China. Of course, must know the limits and won't use it for too aggressive trails: not tried more than 1.5 metre high drops / 4 metre gaps / 2 metres of air / 40km/h downhill.
