Polygon Helios 500 '09
It's made in Indonesia, not Italy, but I've no problems keeping up with the rest. My trusty steed here has even pulled the pack with me before on 55-60 Km rides and I absolutely ADORE the elegant "Pearl-Champagne" colour theme! It has a classy, subtle beauty without the garish race stripes of other makes.
Sure, it's seen a few falls, but it's tough and sturdy still! I especially like the components it comes with:
1) Ritchey posts/stem/bars,
2) Mavic Aksium Race wheels with aero spokes
3) A lovely Fizik Aliante saddle and
4) A full Shimano 105 group and brake set
During an upgrade, I can transplant all these onto a higher-end frame without guilt! :D
The stem is changed from 90-mm to 110mm (also Ritchey) - that's been the only add-on I've made to this great piece of engineering!
