Before buying this frame, I used to think that Aluminium is not as superior as carbon... but the S1 changed all that. All the reviews that rave about the S1, from roadbikereview (USA), to Bikeradar(UK), I have found them to be true. The S1 may not be as light as some of the elite models, but certainly light enough. With the right mix of components, its very easy to get the bike to be at around 7-8kilos. Important components would be the crankset and wheelsets. As for groupset, Ultegra, Sram Force level type, would suffix in terms of quality as well as weight. I'll leave out handle bar, stem and saddle as these are all gotta do with personal taste and physical limitations.
