At a first glance, people calls it out as a "Jap bike." Maybe coz of the fenders?
It's semi upright riding position is currently working for me. This was originally setup for touring/bikepacking (with racks and panniers).
Been using a Denham touring bar for the past 3yrs. For better handling, I use the wide grips (especially during grocery day). But I mostly position my hands near the bullhorns to mimic a drop bar position and have a more aerodynamic ride.
Running on XT M8120 2x12 Groupset. 46-30T Chainring with 10-45T Casette.
Ever since I rode at Audax200km Batangas, I decided to make this rig lighter so I can move faster (max avg speed now is 24kph). Making it x1 and building a new wheelset. Carbon fork yet to find a decent one. Upgrade to happen hopefully within the TogoPH124 Challenge.
