South Korea East Coast Ride, 7 days

This itinerary covers a section of 325 KM (approximate) of the entire 720 KM of cycling trail from the northern tip of South Korea down towards the southern tip finishing at Busan on the East Coast. The cycling path is well maintained and paved the whole way. You will pass through many seaside villages and enjoy coastal landscape. While part of the journey is generally flat, there are quite a few mountain passes that you will need to ride over. There are climbs and constant undulation on certain part of the route. This ultimate cross-country cycling trip is one of the best in the country.

A lesser well-known secret about South Korea is that she is one of the best countries in the world to explore by bicycle. South Korea has massive cycling infrastructure with a network of bike-only paths spanning the length of the country, a coastline, or across a scenic or challenging segment. These bike routes are a mix of well-maintained paths through parks, along rivers, quiet country trails, and small roads. Most of the paths, barring mountain passes and remote areas, are sometimes car-free.
