Explore Chiang Rai Province on bicycle as we ride on off-the-beaten paths, through backroads only locals know about, hopping from rustic local eating places to cafes, visiting lovely villages and its people. It is a ride not to be missed!

Chiang Rai province is a lovely laidback region in Thailand known for its production of good quality arabica coffee beans grown in the mountains. The city, commonly known as Chiang Rai was once under the rule of the Burmese for several hundred years before it was liberated by King Naresuan. Throughout the city centre, you will see intricate style of decorations unique to this city.

During this trip, visit both well-known and hidden local landmarks and cycle on endless traffic lights-less roads. Spot locals going about their daily routine and animals grazing their farms. December is a great time to visit due to its cool and dry climate. A trip to reset your mind and recharge for the upcoming new year!

Cycling Grade: 2+ - 3 (Beginner Plus - Intermediate)
