Felt Bicycles Recalls Three Mountain Bike Models

Approximately 645 units of Mountain Bike were being recalled by Felt Bicycles in cooperation with the US Consumer Product Safety Office due to the risk of seat post failure. The recall applies to all model year 2015 Felt Double Double 30, NINEe 20, and Edict 1 mountain bikes.
The Felt Bicycle models were being sold with carbon fiber seat posts that pose fail hazard. A total of 10 reports were received by Felt due to a cracked seat posts. No injuries were being reported despite of the cracked seat posts.
Owners of these models have been advised to stop using their bike immediately and should contact their local Felt dealers for free inspection and replacement of seat post.
