The Matova Gel Pad F3 cycling shorts is a racing ready, Elite level pair of shorts that is made with 240g advanced Italian Lycra and is only made with a few pieces of fabric, the contoured fit of this shorts with it’s subtle compression fit, increases blood flow to reduce muscle stress. The Matova shorts features Funkier’s Elite level F3 gel chamois pad, this very unique pad is manufactured already contoured, unlike traditional chamois pads which are manufactured flat and then sewn into the shorts, the main advantage of having a chamois pad that is permanently contoured is that it fits extremely well when worn by the rider and is exceptionally comfortable too as there are no creases of folds that you would get from standard chamois pads. The F3 chamois pad is constructed with quick drying for added breathability and antibacterial as well to ensure that germs are kept in check, designed for long distance and endurance riding, the high density foam layers encasing the porous gel pad are concentrated on the ischiatic and frontal areas for added perineal and pubis support, there are also grooved ventilation channels on the chamois to allow for even better blood flow and flexibility. The ends of the shorts have layered fabric thigh grippers that prevent the shorts from riding up the legs when pedaling, ensuring that the shorts remain stretched and that the chamois remains in place, while reducing rubbing and chaffing that creates saddle sores.
