It has been a while, but thank the Good Lord – a slew of updates for the Togoparts app on both iOS and Android stores is finally here. Amongst the changes rolled out are the overall improvements to the user interface, but today, we are focusing on what is probably the coolest introduction to the app so far: the ever-convenient chat function!
Of course, Togoparts can only facilitate and not guarantee a successful transaction, but with the latest app updates, we sure are doing a pretty good job at that.
With that in mind, we’re giving you a little tutorial on how the chat works, so you can have a little peek at how much easier interaction is with this nifty feature.
The first thing you’ll probably notice is the chat icon at the top right-hand corner of your screen, as circled above in orange. We’ll come back to that later, after you’ve selected the ad you’re interested in. In this case, we’re looking at a handy Tsinova Ts01 e-Bike.
After browsing the ad and deciding that you’d like to contact the seller, simply tap the red chat box at the bottom of the screen (as if we haven’t made it obvious enough), which starts a conversation between the both of you. This time, I’m in luck; the seller is online, too! What are the odds, right?
The new chat function works and feels like any other regular chat services around, so there’s a greater sense of familiarity, and by extension, usability compared to the cumbersome old messaging system. It is also much easier this way to track your other conversations with different sellers.
As you can see, this would be especially helpful if you’re in a hurry to complete the transaction, and it would not take long at all for a place and time to be confirmed. What that out of the way, it is down to you and your seller to make the deal happen. Of course, Togoparts can only facilitate and not guarantee a successful transaction, but with the latest app updates, we sure are doing a pretty good job at that.
