Giro E2 2005 description:
Elite riders choose the supercharged power of the E2s Wind Tunnel vents and internal channels, coupled with the lightweight In-mold shell and the adjustable, removable P.O.V visor. The E2 ROC LOC 4 system is unrivaled for fit, comfort and stability in a helmet. Basically the E2 is the go to helmet for all conditions mountain bike riding. With 24 vents its as cool as it gets for Cross Country, and versatile enough to take out on the ripping singletrack, or the epic freeriding adventure. S (51-55cm/20"-21.75") M (55-59cm/21.75"-23.25") L (59-63cm/23.25"-24.75")
Strengths:
Wind tunnels channels air thru your head, causing a cooling effect, feels even cooler than riding without helmet. Very Lightweight. Most importantly, The Giro E2 has a large size to accommodate heads that are not round, like mine has a bone jutting out at the back of the head, but it still feels comfortable.
Weaknesses:
Price, it's a little expensive, and buy an ARAI helmet already. Chins straps tend to be stretched after some sweat gets into it, got to adjust chin strap tension after a few times of usage.
The Crunch:
Definitely will recommend this helmet to those with a slightly higher budget, no regrets. Buy it, wear it and forget the helmet on your head until u start shampoo. =D
