The Review
At $40 is quite cheap considering it come with thick heavy duty wire unlike some with flimsy looking wires. Gives a sense of security with those wires. As im still a virgin at using cyclometers, i'd say this is pretty impressive stuff. Value for money too. Btw juz dun get stuck in the rain. Electronics and water dont mix.. @_@"

" Reliable & Flexible - great value! "

Overall Rating

The Review
Excellent basic cyclocom with great features. Truly reliable!

Strengths
Exactly the same as the mighty 8. An excellent workhorse. Cable contacts are great! These are thick wires that are further reinforced with a plastic twister wrap around the brake cable.

I had an old Mighty 8 which the cables were destroyed by thieves, but I still had the cyclocom itself. It just fits onto the Enduro 8 base unit. The interchangeability means that I can keep the Enduro 8 com for the future & still retain the distance record on my Mighty 8 for current use.

Weaknesses
Unfortunately no backlighting for my night rides. The magnet on the wheel, however, tarnishes easily.

Not for you if you are counting the grams.
