The Review
This is a initial review of a 2005 panaroma V12 cordless.
The backlight is missing!!! SHIT!
The mounting is not that secure and will vibrate slightly on rough terrain. Mounting it centre was nice but not forward and slight higher then the stem. Crushing your bike will sent it flying or badly damage.Mounting on the stem would be smarter.
Not a good idea to separate sensor from display unit as there are a few electrical contact points. These contact point metal may corrode(especially after many oversea rides).Who want to change it back to a wired unit anyway? Not to mention it will be heavier.
It is noticed that it takes a shorter time to read the large speedo display and able to concentrate on the trails more.
Will get back after a few months of usage.

Strengths
Nice big easy to read multi display.
Good quality finish.
Many functions.
Centre mounting.
Cordless.

Weaknesses
No more back light.
Filmsy handlebar mounting.
Separated sensor from display unit.
Heavier then normal cordless.
Centre but forward mounting.

The Review
Maybe a bit pricey for what its performance as a speedometer rates.

But its backlight is really useful and attractive, although it is rather faint bluish-green, even on new batteries.

Value for money? Thats becos until now it is one of the few backlit speedos around...

Strengths
Backlight! The reason why anyone would use this.
Large display that tells you more than what you need to know.
Wireless, tidy and easy setup.

Weaknesses
Slow response! especially at speeds above 45kmh.

Duration of product used
6 months
