" more than sufficient "
Duration of product used:
3 months
Bike Setup:
MERIDA
Similar Products Tried:
shimano br-m475 mech discs..
Strengths:
cheap compared to xt etc...
good stopping power..
good modulation...
nice levers
uses mineral oil
Weaknesses:
stock rotors
weight (for weight weenies only)
The Crunch:
thinking of upgrading to a hydro brake? get these.. lighter then the 525s, good braking power.the stock rotors dont look and work the part. with few holes and insufficient pad cleaning properties.. i got xt rt-75 rotors from the start and the work and look brilliant..there is really no point in getting anything better unless u have extra $$. if u believe in practicality and value then these are the brakes for u .. trouble free and very decent.however use it for its intended purpose which is xc or agressive xc... dont use it for heavy duty dh or free ride and think that the brakes sucks... Cheers!!!
