Topic: Old orphaned bikes - any group interested in taking them?

Posted on: 27th Apr 2019 10:58 AM    Quote and Reply

Our condo in Pasir Ris has over a dozen orphaned bikes that need to be removed.

They are in pretty bad shape but frames and wheels etc. might be useable.

Is there any group interested in collecting such bikes?

The outcome

There were no organisations found that would take the 18 bikes, so eventually a scrap company was hired to take them away.

Otherwise there were a couple of enquiries from people who wanted a frame, etc., but this was not a used bike showroom deal, just an "all or nothing" project.

Adopting abandoned bike(s) may not be an issue. Orphaned bike need not be abandoned bike. Could be bicycle theft decoy. How?
