Topic: Another Hit & Run - along Hg Ave 2

from the rider.... (he was OK)

"Date today Mon 6 Dec early morning
Accident happened along Hougang Ave 2 just before Upper Serangoon Rd direction towards Eunos.

Lorry license plate should be "YJ 7631" i did not notice if there
was a last letter because it happened very fast. The lorry type is like
those used to ferry group of workers behind. Those with small double wheels
behind.

If you happen to spot this number plate please contact the police
immediately let them handle it.

We cannot let reckless drivers like these think they can get away.
We have to stop them before the put other peoples life at risk.

I am lucky to escape with some abrasion n bruises on my shoulder and ankle.
A lorry hit me from behind and I fell on the road and rolled aside out of
the lorries wheels while the lorry continued driving dragging my bike
under it....."

The rider would like to appeal to anyone who has seen a GREY colour CSK hardtail (which probably mangled) to contact him. (or get in touch with me).

Ride Safe with extra blinking lights, both front & rear.

Perhaps the driver thought he was dragging a "tree branch".

If you are kidding with us, this is not ticklish
Can share with us why you do not want to make police report yourself?
I believe all of us appreciate and very thankful if you report any such observations to the Authority. You help make the roads safer. Many thanks.

yah i think no need lookout for him just report it. If i am not wrong hit and run incidents in singapore are against the law, so the police will contact that bugger. it would help if ur friend told the police where he got knocked, hopefully it is caught by a road camera. that way the driver can be charged.
