Topic: What's your daily commuting distance?

Posted on: 9th Mar 2017 2:09 PM    Quote and Reply

Just wondering what kind of distance are the local cyclists commuting on daily basis?

I recently changed to a new workplace which is about 32km from where I stay...I've commuted once with my road bike, the distance is managable, but riding in traffic during peak hours isn't that fun.

I occasionally commute the work.  The distance about 20km (one way).

Yes, I absolutely agree that commuting during the peak hours is not really that fun; have to be really alert.

I have no respect for irresponsible drivers. Neither do I have any respect for irresponsible cyclists and pedestrians. Its not one rule for "them" and another rule for "us".

I ride 11-12km each way daily. For me the distance is perfect.

2.75km per trip to work place(on bicycle). Via mixture of PCN/pavement/road.

Depending on the distance, if mostly PCN then it's about 11km, if more on road then just below 8km on way.
I usually mix it up depending on timing and traffic conditions.
