Topic: New beer rule

anyone else pissed off with this no beer after 10.30 rule. I've been working away this year, last night We finished a 1/2 Island trip about 12 and couldn't get a beer at block 85 in Bedok. I don't recall any disorderly conduct at any of the coffee shops I hang out in mostly just taxi drivers finishing shift and old people. All the bother that I've seen in Singapore has been at or outside licensed places that can still serve expensive beer late.

I think it is wonderful, you of all people, an avid cyclist want to drink beer after a ride, beer belly alert.

What is wrong and so much healthier with an ice cold isotonic drink, or if want to sin, an ice laden sugar cane juice.

Break the habit and leave beer drinking to your night's out on weekends when not driving or cycling, safer for you too.

Cheers!

Haha are you running for parliament or something

an ice cold beer after a 70 or 80km evening ride outside my house is one of life's little pleasures and not going to turn me into a fat bastard.

An ice cold beer before you set off.
A couple more ice cold beer while riding.
Then finish off that ice cold beer after the ride.

Try that and you might change your mind on just that one single ice cold beer after the ride and add more
to life's little pleasures

Yah!

Do not drink Budweiser.

Have  Tiger or Singha.
Even better will be to have 2 or 3 or 4!
Ice cold.

One before the start, a couple more during the ride, and one more when you finished.
And do not drink from wimpy cans.

Drink from large bottles that you open with your teeth!
