there seems to be a bell fetish among cyclists. well, at least those here.

so, please share what you have on your handlebar, with a few words on its strengths & weaknesses, if any.

The cheapo "I <3 my bike" bell. Not very good but very cheap.

Some cheapo bell I bought at Treknology... cheap but loud and works pretty well. If you can't hear it, you're either deaf or you're ignoring me on purpose.

this is my stock giant bell. usual snap-ding bell. doesn't work at high speed. works when it has too. don't know how long the snap will last.

No bell for road bike. Made in Japan silver color $10 bell for hybrid.

I think I will go without bell for road bike and avoid PCNs or cycle very slowly if need to go PCNs.

I use a $2 "I love my bike" bell.

I dont need bell that sounds tink tink with very nice tone cos its not meant for my ear...its for idiots who simply dunno how to walk straight or group of idiots blocking entire pavment.

some ppl say using bell is rude but i think depend on how u use it.
