I did have a set of photos of my bike riding in Taiwan.  Most other sets died.
This report is photo intensive and I had to write and organised that in my Livejournal.
I hope you all will enjoy it and have an understanding of the beautiful roads of Taiwan.

And that one day you be there.

Thank you friends,

I am happy you all enjoyed with me those wonderful times cycling down from Wuling Nong Chang.

Wuling NongChang did not sound nice.  For the first few months when I was in Taiwan in early 1990,  I did not even try to go to Wuling Nong Chang as I wondered with that kind of name of a farm, what the hell would that kind of place be?

I was wrong as usual.  Very very wrong!
That was  one of the very beautiful places of Taiwan.

You know I left my Tinkerbell there in Taiwan.  I had to leave Taiwan in the midst of bird flu in 2004.  No countries around the world would allow other birds to be imported.  I trained my friend there for a year , and gave Tinkerbell into his care.  Almost every year, I would go back to Taiwan to see Tinkerbell , and my other friends.

And last year I did that.  I was building my stamina up for that as that included a climb on a mountain , Sueh Shan (Snow Mountain) that was next to Wuling Nong Chang.  I rode bike to build up my stamina.

I had a near death experience on that bike ride that I wrote about here in chitchat tok kok sing song bike falling experience

Instead of worrying of my cracked ribs, I was frantic I had to abort my planned Taiwan trip and miss that mountain climbing and miss seeing Tinkerbell

But I did go on that trip.

And that include a lot of nice photos of WuLing Nong Chang that you might enjoy.
And see a couple of photos when I was in Taiwan in 1991, when I could have taken in a Tour De France.
I was really super fit then.

Remember a lot lot more photos in the embedded Flickr folder.

And if you enjoyed that, you might enjoy using Livejournal navigation and paged back to see my reports with Tinkerbell.  Lot of nice photos and of mountains at Chiayi Alishan mountain as well.
