Hi All,
Do "add" me to your list for the next bike ride. I'm on a MTB and live around Queenstown.
Thanks.

Hi Ryan,
There is a regular night ride hosted by WCR group this Wed at 8.30pm, starting from West Coast Park McDonald. Distance is around 36-42km depending on the group you choose to join.
The groups are classified by WCR group leader according to Rolling and Average speed.
Rolling Speed - The typical speed you see on your speedometer while cruising on relatively flat stretches.
Average Speed - The average speed of the entire ride as calculated by cycling computers. This is not a representation of ‘the speed you see most often on your computer when you look down’.
You may want to join the Bunnies or Kitties group.
Note: there is no sweeper on this ride. You have to familiarise with the route.

Bunnies
Whole ride average speed: 25 - 27+ km/h
Rolling speed: >26 - 30 km/h

Kitties (short for Kittens) - Road newbies, leisure rides
Whole ride average speed: 21 - 24+ km/h
Rolling speed: >22 - 26 km/h

colin

Hi Colin,

Thanks for your fast reply. I just did 80km today. Don't think can do another 100km tomorrow morning. Are there any website that you post the outing? Thanks.
