Posted on: 21st Feb 2016 10:01 PM    Quote and Reply

Hey guys..

newbie here.. hope to see this thread resurrected again..

Anybody has updates on the current state of off-road trails in Sg?

I know Bukit Timah is still opened and Ubin's Ketam trail.. But that's about it..

What about Kent Ridge or others in Singapore's 'mainland"?

Hope to be able to ride with some of u guys/girls here..

To someone who finds BT ok, this new trail should be a piece of cake. If you go fast enough, you can do jumps at certain sections. Newspaper mentioned 2-3 sections which is moderately difficult but I don't see any.

Sunday AM is crowded with a lot of people loitering near the trail entrance/exit chitchatting which can be very irritating when you want to pass through. Guess people are curious about this new trail.

thanks for the vid, good to see a new trail and it looks pleasant enough but doesn't look to be at all technically challenging, Nor have any of those lung busting climbs that Ubin has. Also is it officially 2 way or were those others getting it wrong?

You are right, its not technically challenging for seasoned riders and its only 1.6km. This is the South trail and the North one is supposed to be more difficult, ready by year end. Good for novices to hone their biking skills. Been to Ketam a few times and yes, climbs are really challenging. 😀  The next best trail to hit would be BT. The new trail is 1-way and 1 of guys you saw in the vid enddo on a small drop-off & the rest are resting??? 😁

3 rounds became 1 round + T15 due to the muddy muddy conditions. the weather and the popularity of the trail is not helping.

Trail day!!
