The place that you stay, did you took a boat out to kelong?
Tanjung Pinang ppl mainly chinese & speaks teochew & its really interesting when you are there during CNY. Fire-crackers & all, am thrilled!

The "kelong" is connected to the shore, you walk on a wooden deck out to sea.

Crap... I cycled from Bintan to Yasin Bunglow then to Bintan Resort. Miss the Ocean Bay. Looks really good!!

Is all the information on this thread any different for folding bikes?
I thought taking a folding bike on the ferry may be bit easier at least.
