noob here. please dont flame me. but may i know what's the difference btw the birdy sold in japan as compared to the ones sold in singapore? 

i'm comparing this in terms of the physical bike itself e.g. frame, parts, etc...and not referring to comparison of price, warranty...

for one, they are not named birdy here, at least not on the frame itself. 
Its either bd-1 or bd-2

 I could pop by the lbs if needed...... Need to get some new shifter cables afterall.
Would be handy to know the make you are looking for though

Really? I thought that they did have the name "birdy" on the frame.

Japanese people have difficulty pronoucing their Rs 

Birdy would probably sound more like Ba-di or Baddie
