I think maybe the mods can put this post up permanently or something. So that people who are looking for certain brands from whichever shops can just look at this at a glance. else we will always see many reposts by people asking the same stuffs again and again.

So if this is a permanent post, then people who asked will only be asking some very specific components that are not easily available in singapore.

just my two cents

Can we void those parallel imported brands carried by the LBS? or simply list it in another place?  I had my bad experience getting parallel imported stuff from LBS that pretends to be the authorised dealer.  If problem doesn't arise, I probably won't even know that my investment on those expensive parts are not really supported by the local distributors and that the LBS where I got from won't help much.

i dont think L n T is the dealer of Santa Cruz..

Can anyone double confirm this?

From Santa Cruz Website its stated as Two Wheel Action.. and i do agree with bro speeddemon that dont name those that does parallel imported stuff as newbies like me will get the wrong idea and when any warrenty issues arrived i will be "screwed".

When I was at Two Wheel Action few weeks ago a caucasian told the shop guy that another shop is selling the model he is looking at cheaper, and the guy told him that they are the local distributor and they won't service Santa Cruz bikes bought from any other bike shops. So yes, you can only buy from them if you are worried of frame problems, which happens more likely on full susp bikes with multi linkages. I believe any other bike parts can just go back to the LBS you buy from, they should service for you?

When I mean go back to the LBS for the bike parts I mean the problem parts on the bike where you got the stock bike from btw. Two Wheel Action also carry Cannondale bikes, and they are not the distributor.
