Carerra Nero Frame "Important for this design is the stringent K1 type carbon created by Toray Industry. The structure is put together by a lamination process of overlapping weaves with different angles to get stiffness and elasticity. Special aerospace resins hold the structure together. The tubing shapes optimize torsion rigidity and aerodynamic properties. The NERO was raced successfully by Dario Frigo in 2002 in the Giro d'Italia and Tour de France.
