If the Fox is tapered then it will not fit the Mt Vision. The Mt Vision like the one in the pic is a straight 1-1/8 steerer head tube , not tapered steerer compatible....

Yes my mv is a straight head tube But I'm not certain that fox has a tapered steerer. To what I understand if you have a frame that's hit a tapered head tube then a specific headset is required for it. Once fitted any 1 1/8 fork steerer should go through. Do check and verify what I'm saying though. Paul

Well for starters you are a lucky man to have a wife buy him a F120! If your MV 5.8 is built according to US Spec, you should be using a Fox Fork with Thru-Axle design for the front hubs already. The model that your wife bought should be similar to what is specced for your 5.8 already. If yours for whatever reason was not specced with a Fox with Thru-Axle then you will need to first check if your fork will fit on your front wheel.. if it does... all should be fine, you can use the fox forks, its the correct suspension travel. Mine was a lower end 2008 MV 5.6 and came with cheaper Rockshox Tora with regular Quick Release hubs (QR) thus using QR hubs. The price of these babies on Chain reaction is just under SGD$900, so i guess anything under that would be good. I got my Fox RL120 used for about $600+
