The “Jack of all trades, master of none” idiom certainly does not apply to Miss Marianne Vos who just won her first ever mountain bike race. In fact, she is so versatile and amazing that her win in her first elite mountain bike race – the Cyprus Sunshine Cup - is almost unsurprising. Vos illustrious career already includes world titles in track, road and cyclocross and Olympic gold medals in track and road cycling. Naturally, her stellar achievements has drawn comparisons to cycling legend Eddy Merckx for being one of the finest cyclists in her generation ever. Ms Vos could perhaps consider BMX Freestyle to add on to her already extensively impressive resume.
